At Nighthawk/Raven Publishing, we are committed to conducting business in an honest, socially just, and environmentally conscious manner.
We are dedicated to creating quality literature and to supporting the independent writer. We promote the success of the independent
contractor, the small business, and the entrepreneur. The majority of our contractors and vendors are other Green companies.

We provide a full range of self-publishing services including transcription, proofreading, editing, book design and formatting, cover design
and more.
What is self-publishing and why do it?
Our authors are quality writers who are unwilling to cater their art to the huge mass-producing publishing companies. They are also unwilling
to settle for the 6% - 15% royalty revenue paid by the large companies while still having to do all the work of advertising and marketing. They
desire to make an honest living at their art without sacrificing quality.
We have a unique working relationship with our authors. We provide all the services necessary for a successful self-publishing author to
reach their audience, for a very reasonable cost. This allows 'small' authors to reach a much larger audience with much less work than if they
tried to do all this on their own. The only service we can't provide is the actual printing and binding of the books, but we do help our authors
find the right printing company for their project.

We are a small, family-run business with significant ties to our small-town community. We understand that our readers just want good books,
plain and simple.
